DAUGHTER OF NOWHERE AND EVERYWHERE

Country not mine to say but shared the culture and tradition;

Always felt I could be a citizen of both: for I loved both.

But always was led down by people as I was not born in the former.

Thought my childhood days would count but didn't.

When I returned home I was treated unwell

saying I was not part of her, as I was not brought up by 'homies'.

Went to a different part of the home nation as per say

but was unwelcomed as they say I don't look alike.

One thing I can say: "I belong to the universe",

that I am sure and no one can deny.
